Store Credits and Exchanges

We created Tilit NYC to bring cooks and chefs better options for workwear, i.e. we want you to love our chef aprons, chef pants and chef coats! If you're not 100% happy upon receipt you can return them for an exchange or *full refund provided they have not been worn in the workplace or washed, with the exception of trying them on. If they have been worn or washed and you're still not happy, give us a holler. We'll do our very best to accommodate you (we've got southern hospitality in our blood ;) Exchanges and store credits are available for items received by Tilit within 30 days of original ship date in the original packaging and 100% good condition.


Refunds are only available for returns received within 14 days of receiving your package in the original packaging and 100% good condition. All return requests after 14 days will receive an exchange or store credit. Refunds are credited upon receipt minus shipping fees and a $10 restocking fee.


Tilit Chef Goods workwear is built to last and we stand behind our chef wear 100%.

To ensure that our repairs are fair and consistent for all of our customers. While we do not cover damage that is a result of normal wear and tear or damage that is not caused by a malfunction, we are happy to repair any other damage that may have occurred. This excludes damage due to chemical spills, oil or ink pens, and improper washing techniques.

Please expect all repairs to be completed within 1-2 weeks. We understand that your item is important to you and we will do our best to complete the repair as quickly as possible while ensuring that it is done to the highest standard.

We stand behind the quality of our apron straps, which are made of 100% cotton. If they wear down over time, we offer a solution to change them out for a minimal cost, so you can continue enjoying your apron for years to come.

The not so fine print!!

We ask that you do all of this as fast as possible! We like to keep our styles fresh for the season and no one wants some outdated goods! So remember exchanges and store credits are available for items received by Tilit within 30 days of original ship date and refunds are available for items received by Tilit within 14 days of original ship date minus the shipping costs and a $10 restocking fee. 

*It is important to note that if an item is not in a sellable condition for sale, there may be limitations in our ability to accept it for return or exchange. We reserve the right to decline the product and suggest an alternative option.

International Returns

We are more than happy to exchange or return your goods as well! Unfortunately we cannot supply the shipping labels for international returns and exchanges. Please note all international import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the receiver.

For all international orders, our clients are responsible for shipping back items for return or exchanges.

Embroidered items, hemmed garments or any modifications are final sale and not available for return, exchange or refund. Additionally any discounted items marked final sale are, indeed final sale.
