Care Instructions

1. Washing Guidelines (By Garment Type)

Tops (Chef Coats & Shirts)

    • Spot-treat deep stains with a Tide pen or gentle stain remover before washing.
      Wash in cold water to minimize shrinkage and color fading.
    • Use a mild, enzyme-based detergent to break down food oils without damaging the fabric.
    • Turn garments inside out before washing to protect logos, buttons, and surface details.
    • Tumble dry on low heat, or shake out after washing and hang dry to help minimize wrinkles.

Bottoms (Pants, Jumpsuits, Overalls)

    • Machine wash on cold with similar colors; separate darks and lights.
    • Tumble dry on low heat, or shake out after washing and hang dry to help minimize wrinkles.
    • Fasten zippers and buttons to prevent snags or abrasion.
    • Avoid overloading the washer to reduce friction and preserve fabric quality.

Aprons

    • Remove any leather components before machine washing.
    • Shake off debris and pre-treat stains with a spot treater.
    • For waxed aprons, wipe clean with mild soap and a soft sponge. Machine wash to remove odor.
    • Tie or secure apron straps (or place in a laundry bag) to prevent tangling.
    • Use a gentle cycle for the first wash to help preserve color.
    • Hang dry or tumble dry on low/cool air.

2. Temperature & Cycle Recommendations

  • Cold is preferred; hot water may cause shrinkage or set stains.
  • Use gentle/delicate cycles, especially for printed or embroidered garments.
  • Always follow the specific instructions on each garment’s care label.

3. Drying Instructions

  • Air dry or line dry when possible to maintain fit and reduce wear.
  • If using a dryer, select low heat only.
  • Remove items promptly to prevent wrinkles.

4. Stain Treatment Tips

  • Pre-treat stains (oil, tomato, coffee, etc.) as soon as possible with mild stain remover or gentle dish soap.
  • For tougher stains, allow garments to soak briefly before washing.
  • Avoid chlorine bleach on colored fabrics to prevent fading or fiber damage.

  • Turn garments inside out to protect prints, embroidery, and color depth.
  • Avoid harsh detergents or bleach, which can weaken fibers and fade fabrics.
  • Skip fabric softeners on workwear, they can leave residue and reduce breathability.

6. Ironing & Finishing

  • Use medium heat when ironing.
  • Do not iron directly over logos or embroidery, turn garments inside out or use a pressing cloth.
  • For heavier fabrics (like denim aprons or pants), use a steam setting for best results.

7. Storage & Longevity Tips

  • Store garments completely dry to prevent mildew or odors.
  • Hang tops and aprons to maintain shape; fold bottoms as needed.
  • Repair loose threads or stitching early to extend the garment’s lifespan.

8. Safety & Sanitation Notes 

  • For garments exposed to heavy food residue, wash soon after use to prevent bacteria buildup.

Honestly — such a quality product. I can be a bit squirrelly at times and am always moving, this piece allowed me to move freely and comfortably — and chicly. LOVE it! (once I got the sizing right)

The measuring chart was way off but once I got it right this piece looks and feels GREAT. Love the material, the fit in the arms and legs, and all the pockets. This is definitely going to be a staple in the wardrobe.

Workhorse kitchen wear

I got the Jumpsuit a couple of years ago and it's held up really well as a work outfit, it's been through hundreds of long shifts at this point and barely shows it. I really love the thigh pockets, I find them to be super useful.

My one complaint is that as a skinny guy they're pretty baggy on me, I had to order a size up so they would fit lengthwise. It would be amazing to see a medium-tall size in the future.
